I was so proud of 3/4 at our assembly last week. They spoke and presented themselves with great honour and pride. They were so thrilled to share their new found knowledge with the school community. It was like standing in an art gallery! Brilliant!
Due to my attendance being required at District History meeting tomorrow, our BYOD day will be next Wednesday 2nd September. If the students are able to bring their own device to record a podcast, this would be fantastic. Some of the school iPads will be available on the day, however as they are being used heavily by the school on that day, extra devices will be required. They will be locked away whilst not in use. If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you.
Wow 3/4 what an enormous day! I'm exceptionally impressed with your artworks today. They look maginificent! Thank you for making Mr and Mrs Terry feel so welcome and using your most beautiful Perthville manners.
Our class will be visited next Monday by local artist Jacquie Terry, who will be teaching the students various water colour methods to create a piece of artwork that will be displayed on the COLA board for Friday's assembly. The artwork produced will support what students are currently learning about in Geography. We are very excited about this event.
Hi everyone,
If you wish to submit your homework online, please do this on the 'Homework' Page above. If you have any trouble doing this, use the CONTACT submission form to e-mail me or simply let me know during the day. Thanks. Weekly spelling lists and dictation sentences can now be found on our 'Weekly Spelling' page. This will save time using paper, glue and valuable learning time! If students want a printed version for their books these will be available in the homework tub.
Today for our group challenge, the students were asked to teach themselves and each other, how to create a website or podcast. The idea behind this is to eventually share their work with the world! To be provided with feedback from a variety of sources outside the classroom limits can be very powerful. I was exceptionally impressed with their ability to learn a whole new set of skills in a very short time! Wow 3/4 you amaze me!
