Congratulations 3/4 on your wonderful costumes today, you looked amazing! I was so proud of you all. What a wonderful way to end the term. Happy Holidays!!!!
One more day to go! Wow what an amazing term/year we have had. We have all earned a sunny, relaxing break away whether you are going to be at home or away, I hope you all have a happy and safe holiday.
Don't forget, for our last day we have a puppet show, character dress-up book parade and special assembly. A wonderful way to end Term 3. A big thank you 3/4 for your leadership, creativity and independent attitude towards your learning yesterday for our BYOD day. App creation, Website development and storytelling
International Dot Day, a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration, began when teacher Terry Shay introduced his classroom to Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot on September 15, 2009. The Dot is the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”. What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing, which has gone on to inspire countless children and adults around the globe. CHECK OUT THE YOUTUBE CLIP BELOW TO SEE AND HEAR THE STORY Although we won't be handing in homework books at the end of this week, please keep the wonderful projects and interesting items coming in. I will still be awarding Class Dojo points as I see your work. I'm exceptionally impressed with the variety and level of interest that has been shown by you all in completing and presenting informative and visually pleasing projects. Many of you have been reading to the class from favourite books, presenting PowerPoints on Australian or Asian animals, writing stories, singing and recording times tables and making dioramas.
Don't forget to practise the revision spelling words on the Spelling page - I know there are 29 words, however they are not new and are a great way for you to improve your vocabulary, particularly when writing or having an important conversation with someone. Well done on a fabulous term 3/4 - you never cease to amaze me. The class are having a wonderful time using their own devices to create a podcast to promote the Perthville Village Fair! Here are some pics of them in action!
